Default player passwords and how to change them

Raspberry Pi and Linux players ship with these defaults:

• SSH login: user pi, password pi
• Download and player web page (http://player-ip:8000): username pi, password pi

Change them for all players in your account at Settings > Authorization Settings (new interface), or under Settings in the classic interface ("Set Username and Password for Download Access" and "Set SSH Password for Player"). Avoid the "$" character in the SSH password. Players pick up the change on their next report to the server.

Content downloads are protected by the download username and password. Android and Amazon Signage Stick players have no SSH login.
