On screen clock stays on bottom

Hello,

Running a Pi4 1GB ver: 2.6.4/1.2.0. In group settings, the Show clock > show time on screen is checked, top is selected. The clock is showing on the bottom of the TV.

To test, I set the clock position to bottom, restarted, then switched to top, and restarted again. The clock remained on the bottom of the TV.

The positioning appears to work correct for the Pi3B+ with 2.6.4.

Any thoughts?

  Hi,

  In buster release which supports Pi 4, the support for OpenVG has been removed, so as of now we are using JavaScript clock and to make sure it is visible all the time, we are forcing it at the bottom irrespective of the configuration.
