1. Take the example at https://github.com/colloqi/piSignage/tree/master/examples/weather (weather.html or one of the other files)
2. Change the city at line 160
3. Upload the file using Add Asset button under Assets Tab.
4. You can add the weather file to the playlist to play the file.

We are not able to get this to work on our signage. It will work on a local machine, but not on a player.
I like the format of the weather and hope we can use this file/example.

Can you make sure that the zip file contains index.html at the root? that is do not zip the enclosing folder, instead zip index.html, lib and css folder only

Yes - your very simple instruction fixed my problem. I was zipping the 'weather' folder and not selecting the index.html, css, lib folders which was creating a 'weather' folder with the files inside of it.

Is there any detailed instructions on how to add the widget as I keep getting unable to play zip file ?
It may not work in preview, are you seeing the same message in player?
Is there a way to have this weather on a bottom zone layout. I tried to use the one that was label bottom zone, but it is no different then the original weather one. I would like to have the current weather on the left side and then the next couple of days out to the right of it.

I was able to get the Weather Side deploy, how can I reduce the size of temperature and forecast is off center, how can I center that with a smaller font. Thankyou
You could try reducing font-size from 32px and try in the html style
is there a way to change weather.html to Celsius??
in line 161 or so, there is units="auto", change it to units="si" to always return centigrade and units="us" to always return Fahrenheit
