AutoLaunch PiSignage on boot in Android

PiSignage Player2.0 Android app on Google Play store:  PiSignage For Android

When the app is launched on your Android Device a Message will be shown at the bottom of your screen which says 

For PiSignage to start on boot of your Android device ( Mobile/TV ), it requires you to provide a Special App Access called Display over other apps.

Navigate to 

Settings -> Apps -> Special app access -> Display over other apps -> PiSignage for Android

and enable the access for PiSignage for Android

Now every time you restart / boot your android device, PiSignage player will start automatically.

Note : Incase you wish to disable this, you can Navigate to the same app access under settings and disable for PiSignage for Android and this would stop PiSignage from AutoLaunching.

Additional steps needed to AutoLaunch piSignage on boot on your TCL Google TV 

Modifying the Safety Guard settings on your TCL TV

1. On your TCL TV, click on Apps Menu -> All apps -> Safety Guard App.

2. Navigate to the Safety Guard app

3. Click on "Permission shield"

4. Click on "Auto Launch permission"

5. Ensure that the value against "piSignage for Android" is set to "Opened" and not "Closed"

6. Go back to the "Permission shield" page and click on "Relevance Start Permission"

7. Ensure that the value against "piSignage for Android" is set to "Opened" and not "Closed"

Disable Energy optimisation for piSignage

1. Navigate to settings -> Apps -> Special App Access -> Energy Optimisation
2. Disable energy optimisation for piSignage for Android
